The other day I bought:

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (Greatest Hits) (PS2) (new, $19.99)
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (used, $10.79)

And by "the other day" I mean, like, two weeks ago. I would have like to get the original release of Disgaea, but at this point I'm more interested in playing the game than seeking out an original copy.

Of course, it would be way disappointing if that was all I bought in the million years since my last blog entry. And luckily, it's not. :) Here's the other stuff that I remember buying:

Alter Echo (PS2) (used)
Geist (GCN) (new)
Katamari Damacy (PS2) (used)
Max Payne (PS2) (used)
Rogue Galaxy (PS2) (new)
The Simpsons Game (PS2) (used)
SiN Episodes: Emergence (PC) (new)
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2 (GBA) (new)

Oh, and a used PSOne (that's the redesigned PlayStation) with a memory card, two controllers, and three games — The Emperor's New Groove, Monsters Inc. Scream Team, and Jampack Fall 2001. Yeah, a demo disc. I didn't realize it was even in there until I first turned on the system. It's actually notable in that it's the last Jampack disc for the PS1. If that counts as being notable.

Games I beat:

Psychonauts
Katamari Damacy
The Simpsons Game

And, uh, I guess that's it. They're all good and they're all funny in their own special way. But some are better than others. By which I mean Katamari Damacy is awesome.

Okay, that's all for now. If you're looking for me on Giant Bomb, just pop by my profile at http://www.giantbomb.com/profile/LordAndrew/ and leave me a message or what have you.

The only impressions I have ever heard about geist are from you and edgecrusher and both have been positive. I hope they release it on the lets play on wii label and smooth up the framerate and add wii pointer aiming.

I liked Geist too, GG. It was a good game. Possessing a rat and running through walls and stuff was pretty cool. I think of it as more of a puzzle game than a FPS because you have to figure out who/what/when/and how to scare certain people/animals in order to get to where you need to go. Pretty clever stuff, IMO.
