This past seven days have been wonderful for a change.

Exam 1 (driving)

Let's start with my driving. I finally have my driving license. Well technically not yet, but I passed the exam and this Friday I will have the license. I passed my exams yesterday just barely. Somehow I just suck badly when driving for my exam. And the thing is, it is not because I am nervous. I never get nervous. Sometimes I failed because I went too fast, the other time because I went to slow. But you know what they say?! Five times a charm. Will need to buy a car ASAP.

The frustrating part is that some people that drive way worse than me get their driving license at their first try. But they do not fuck when push comes to shove, I did multiple times. Even now I passed just barely. I made some mistakes I normally never make. But that is water under a bridge. I rewarded myself by reserving Zelda: Skyward Sword Limited Edition. Will finish it and spoil everything before Vader has a chance to play it. Heck this is the first time I preordered a game since Killer Instinct on the Snes. I even got a Killer Kuts CD with it, and here I will get a CD too. Oh wait a second I preordered Xenoblade too! Never mind that.

Exam 2 (fighting)

Last Thursday I had an exam for the martial arts I train in. I passed this one one my first try. Of course I did, this is not driving. I am better at punching people in the face than driving a car. I nver failed an exam in martial arts ever. I guess I have some talents in hurting people. Hmm, maybe giving me a driving license is a recipe for disaster.

Funny email

But that is not the reason why I wrote this blog. You probably do not care if I pass my exams with the possible exception of making fun of my driving skills. (I will be having the last laugh when I run your sorry bitch as over with my car).

No let me share to you the email I got a few days ago from a guy from India.

First I thought it was spam, but when I open it......my thought in ()

Respected Sir, (Wait did someone call me sir? What the hell is going on here)

I am a third year undergraduate student in the School of Electrical Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)Bhubaneswar (How the fuck do you pronounce this?), India , considered to be one of the best technical institute in the world (Never heard of it, but he could be right). I have always believed that academic knowledge flourishes only when it's applied. (Agree, but what the hell has this to do with me?!)

I have gone through your article “ Assisting manual welding with robot ” (Ahh, I see where this is going. Praise the lord someone read my article)

It spoke high of your knowledge and experience (:lol::lol: People actually think my article is good? Maybe I should read it. And experience in what? Being unemployed?), and insisted that the opportunities available in your department will further enhance my knowledge in my fields of study. I am desirous of pursuing an internship in my summer vacations (for approximately 3 months i.e. from May, 2012 to July, 2012) under your esteemed tutelage ( wait he actually thinks I am a professor, oh they forgot to put in the article that I was just a student) and hope to gain some knowledge & exposure in these fields. I have already done summer interns in my first and second year on Embedded Systems and Biometric authentication respectively.

The rest of the mail was him talking about his achievements and stuff. The guy has already written more papers that I ever will, but yet he wants to study under me. What a funny misunderstanding, not his fault, but funny still. Me a professor? Teaching people things that do not involve maiming, pain and seducing Steelio's mum? Surely me doing stuff for the betterment of mankind is a sign that the universe is about to end.

Wow, I had some serious doubts if I should come back to the company that fired me because I was sick. At one hand I dislike leaving things unfinished, but on the other hand they did fire me. Well I got a mail and they do not have a job for me right now. So that settles that problem too. Off to find a new job. I just hope that I can use my car. It would be very annoying that once I pass my driving exam and buy a car the universe decides that I do not need it anymore.

I keeping thinking that you taking in a guy from India would
make a great sitcom, like Perfect Strangers. "Get out of the city!"
