Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin!
Fantastic list. You need to play supraland. And doom. And la mulana. And we'll play a lot of the stuff you missed!
There's plenty of time. Fab list! I look forward to GoT myself
Nearing the end of Sakuna, I think. I don't want to spoil it too much, but I'll say this: One of the most tedious scenes in recent gaming is one of the things that makes this game G-R-E-A-T ! ! !
Sakuna is a spoiled, impatient and impetuous Harvest Goddess. Through a turn of events, she gets banished from the Lofty Realm with some human refugees. Her godhood is strenghthened by how bountiful harvests are, but the only thing you can really manage to grow on your Island of Demons is rice.
This game is part farming sim and part side-scrolling action game. Think Harvest Moon plus a bit of Muramasa: The Demon Blade plus a bit of Bionic Commando plus... Well a lot of things wholly unto itself.
It's a perfect blend. You'll want to learn to improve your small rice field and it's yield, while crafting weapons and clothing to make you powerful enough to kick some ass! You'll also learn more than you ever needed to about growing rice...!
It teaches you honest and earnest lessons lessons while being an AWESOME game to play. You'll love Sakuna, you'll hate her at times too, but overall the game is TOTALLY worth playing!
Get it! If you want any tips or want to discuss it at some point in the future, let me know!!
