My joycon have gone from bad to worse. Now the gyro isn't stable and has to be reset during Splatoon rounds, sometimes during a three minute round. Now it's started wildly swinging the reticule from centre to right within the blink of an eye.
Worst controller ourside of the N64.
I think I might get a pro controller rather than another set of joycon which might then again need repairing again in the future.
That sucks, GG.
Also really puts me off getting a Switch, unless they fix this issue at some point.
Pro pad is really nice. The triggers could have been better but otherwise it's comparable to the PS4 pad.
That sucks, sorry to hear that GG.
I still would like to pick up the Pro Controller for the Switch as well. Perhaps after Christmas.
With the issues I've had a pro controller seems like a wise choice for me as well.
But you'd be sacrificing the portability, and to be honest, I barely use the Switch on the TV.

I thought it was Xbox's answer to Alexa (AleXa) when I first saw the console. It kinda looks like an Alexa pillar from Amazon just box shaped.
I didn't see the disc slot so I thought it was something you place in a room to get the picture from the Xbox One or Windows 10 and play anywhere in the house.
I didn't like the trailer for Hellblade II; it looked cool but I just cringed because if I was the main character in the try I would die from embarrassment. The song was good though; it was just singing a long to the song and the unnatural facial movements that made me embarrassed for the character.

That's exactly what I thought....I LOLed & said oh no it's a streaming box!

I've been saying they should bring Dino Crisis back in the style of the modern RE games basically since RE4 came out. Can you imagine this on PS5 & fighting super smart dino's from that perspective?
Also, just call it "Resident Evil: Dino Crisis". We all know slapping the RE brand name on it will guarantee it sells twice as good as it would otherwise.
I would love to see Capcom bring back Dino Crisis either in a remaster of 1 and 2, a new game, or even both.
I’m currently playing through Devil May Cry 2 and my god is this ever a bad game. I’m amazed at just how uninspired and dull this game is in everything about it. From the level design, enemy and boss design, to even the music and voice acting.
It felt and looked like a Dreamcast launch game from 1998. That wasn't a good period of time for Capcom at all.
Finished my replay of Blood Omen Legacy of Kain. First time I've played it since the 90's.
This is such an underrated, classic game. Taking Zelda Snes and making one of the most gothic, adult oriented games ever seen out of it was a genius idea that I'm surprised more studios didn't go for. The game still to this day has some of the best voice work too, just like the rest of the series. Easily one of the best games of 1996, but of course had some big flaws like the insane loading times. As well as the later half of the game feeling rushed.
I forgot how long it was. I wanted to get this done before Halloween but obviously that didn't happen. The funny thing is, I remember everything in the game clearly up until beating Vorador's Mansion. After that part, I didn't remember ANYTHING until the very end sequence. So the first half of the game is definitely the much more memorable stuff while like I said, the second half seemed more thrown together just to get it done.
The ending credits are interesting. It's a complete mix of both Silicon Knights & Crystal Dynamics people. But the SK crew definitely had the more hands on development roles & Dyack created the concept. Amy Hennig is listed as the producer for CD. Would have been cool to see the direction SK would have taken the series because I remember them saying Soul Reaver was totally different from what they had in mind.
Anyway, this game deserves a remake. Just like many other early games from that era that have gotten them. A Blood Omen remake in the same style, all done up like what Nintendo did with Link's Awakening, would be fucking KILLER. Unfortunately Square would never allow it. It's either Tomb Raider or fucking superhero games for you, Crystal D.
There's a Russian fan project with videos on Youtube that has the right idea, but its very raw and not super high quality like some of the other fan projects I've seen.
We need a new Kain so badly! What a great series, imagine the storytelling they could do with modern tech.
