Tree House is showing Dread now. Did I miss something? No switch pro? Basically for me I saw very little I'm interested in. Botw2, Metroid. Life is strange. Nintendo seem so far out of whack compared to the other two. They're like: Heeeeeere's Warioware!
Dreads first person scenes are a freaking Prime 4 cocktease. They need to show something on it already. At least mock up an area for godsake. Is Nintendo now permanently out of sync with the console life cycle at this point? Are they going to release a new console mid-way through the PS5 life cycle only for Sony/MS to launch a new console a couple of years later mid-Nintendos next console life cycle?
I'd say it's in keeping with the rest of E3 so far. Rather underwhelming without being outright bad.
Not sure what I feel about the advance wars game. I still have the originals and I honestly prefer the sprites over the 3D. I also see they made it more politically correct, with the enemies no longer resembling nazi's.

Also, I wonder why this was deemed PEGI 18. I was hoping that implied we'd see some Bayo3.
Here comes the traditional: maybe they are focusing on software for their next console? π

Super Switch Ultra Pro
Disappointed. You think they are focusing on software for the next console?
I enjoyed that conference myself. Was disappointed that there was no Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, no new Xenoblade Chronicles or XCX remaster but there was some really good stuff shown and a few surprises.
Obviously they are saving Star Tropics 3 to showcase the Switch Pro reveal.

What's sad is that Nintendo could have bought a few independent studios years ago which would increase its output and diversify the kind of games available for their systems. They bought Next Level but these guys were already making games for them anyway. There are so many indie games which lessens the blow. What about the new Metroid Dread. I'm thinking, there are like a billion metroidvanias on the eshop already. Have these devalued 2d Metroid? I can get Hollowknight instead for less money and it will probably end up as the better game.
