Ahhh poor kid. Just read through the symptoms. Hopefully they've got treatment in place for it and he won't have to stay there too long. Best wishes to you and the family.
Sorry to hear that, Supreme, I also hope he has a full and speedy recovery. At least you have a diagnosis (albeit a syndrome) now, and some form of treatment has begun.
Well, now there's a new theory that it might be the nerve system in charge of the automated functions that might be acting up. This is something seen in some adults after covid and even more rare. If it is this there's little they can do, but it might take months to fully recover.

Just a small COVID update from me. I'm not sure how anyone else has been dealing with it, but it's been two weeks since I got a negative status back from a test, and I'm still feeling the effects of it. I still have coughing fits a couple times a day. Not too hard to deal with, but still not fun. The bigger issue is that I'm still very easily fatigued. By 9:00 at night I'm completely wiped out if I haven't had a nap, and activities like running up the stairs leave me immediately winded.

I have a teacher friend who got it back in July. The only thing she smells is cigarette smoke, even after all these months. Everything smells like it to her.
