Yep. That was "The Man Who Erased his Name." It came out half a year ago, but because it's Sega, it's already starting to get some small price drops. I think I saw it available for $40 last week, although the sale on Yakuza games ended last night. By the end of the year though, I'm sure it'll be closer to $30 on a sale.

Thanks! I'll wishlist it and keep an eye on it..

I bought several more Arcade Archives game on Switch last night: Vs Balloon Fight, Super Xevious and Bubble Bobble.

I also got an early 80s style indie game called Donut Dodo for $3 on sale.

A"

Oooh, Donut Dildo! Sounds fun. Hopefully they nailed the gameplay.

I played it during lunch today. I really like it. It fits in well with the early '80s style of arcade games. It's challenging and quite fun to play.

Bought the Yakuza Remastered Collection. Games 3, 4, and 5. Not sure when I'll play them, but for $10 I figured it was time to grab it.

I guess that's aimed at people who pikced up the series with the zero and kiwami remakes. Not bad for yakuza zealots, but if someone were new to the series at this point I'd say start with zero and the kiwamis then skip ahead to Like a Dragon.

again, for me 3 4 and 5 are all very good, but they are likely feeling their age at this point.

I was actually going back and forth debating whether or not to get the collection or skip to 6: Song of Life. I've got like a dragon waiting, but I'd like to try to get through as much of the earlier games as I can. I'm sure they're going to be kind of rough, but I'll give it a shot. I just played through the saboteur, so I'm back in a 2010 kind of mind frame.

If it helps, I think playing at least one traditional Yazuka game is required before Like a Dragon, but there is no added enjoyment from having played all of them before jumping into Like a Dragon. While each game in the series has it's own story, and 3 is certainly one of the ones that departs from it in a very sweet and touching way, for the most part every game follows the same rhythm and theme.

I bought  Arcade Archives Qix and Super Cobra for Switch this morning. I remember playing both games in the arcade but never found a home Port of either. Nice to have now.

Took advantage of the stem summer sale and picked up Teardown, A Plague Tale, Indika and Sniper Elite 4. I am eager to play all as soon as possible.

I got a sealed, physical copy Pinball Arcade (PS4). It has 20 tables, including the both Elvia tables, and I like most of them.

Bought Dragon’s Dogma 2 for PS5. It’s on sale at 20% off. Only 76 Canuck bucks. Woo hoo!

Hot Wheels Unleashed for PS5 with the season packs and car DLC for $12 on PSN. It's a fun gameplay mix of Rush 2049 and F-Zero GX. Had I known that earlier, I would have picked it up sooner.

Amazon has PSVR2 Horizon bundle on sale $55 off ($545), so of course I (stupidly) ordered one. Should be delivered on Tuesday. Really looking forward to playing Gran Turismo 7 in VR.

Now I need a wheel...

I bought Ultrawings 2 (PSVR2) on PSN sale for $13. Basically Pilotwings VR. I played the original on my Oculus Go years ago and it was a fun game. The sequel looks to be much improved. Sadly, still no jetpack, though.

I finally picked up Immortals Fenyx Rising. For $7.50 new I figure it's worth at least a few hours of my time to try it out.

I just picked up Salt and Sanctuary. It's a very well reviewed Metroidvania that I've considered buying for a couple years. PSN has it on sale for $1.79. Since that's less than the price of a McDonald's cheeseburger I figure now's a pretty good time to try it out.

Picked up Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance for the PS5. Best Buy had it for $65 so figured it’d be a good time to grab it. Did enjoy the original on the Switch and am looking forward to checking out the new content in this version.

Indika was an interesting one. It felt like it could have been a weird, old Soviet movie.
