It gets to that in the night in London, well about -4 C in the really cold bits. During the day it's about -1 to 2 C at the moment in this cold snap.
Scotland reached -22 overnight a couple of days back.
Snow is everywhere.

actually I'm totally posing. I hate the cold. I should post a picture of the blast furnace my dad built to heat our house when I was growing up.
This past weekend we had some reasonably bad weather over here. I loved spending all weekend at the unthinkable temperatures of 10-12ºC. But alas, all good things come to an end. Today the fucking sun showed his asshole face for a bit, and I know things will get worse as the week goes by.
