The ICC just issued an international arrest warrant for Netanyahu, his former defence minister Galant and Hamas leader Mohammed Deif.
That's pretty big news. Although I wonder if this just further divides the world, as it's clear that a number of nations clearly aren't fussed about what the ICC says or does.
I don't even think ICC signed up countries would arrest them.
Starmer the new UK PM was once head of the Crown Prosecution service, he helped Israeli politicians avoid arrest when they came to the UK years ago.

All it will do is slightly reduce his visa options (if that). In any case, it's pretty surprising they actually did it!

Globalisation "failed" and people are pissed. Let's face it, it's the economy and inflation.
There is no such thing as democracy in Capitalism. We only got a good three decade run due to strong unions, the global south being too poor to export manufacturing to, and Communism scaring the ever living shit out of the ruling class so they were forced to give concessions. All three of those things are gone now so there is no incentives for them to compromise.

It's certainly interesting seeing a lot of the people most distraught with the Trump victory being outraged that people would consider that a reason not to vote for the democrats, while also being very despondant over him not warmongering enough with Russia, China and North Korea.
