The first DC Original Movie in 2007 was Doomsday which was based on Death of Superman but it had to be condensed to fit into one movie. They're releasing it into two movies now.

It sounds like it yeah.
It makes sense all the fictional properties in Ready Player One are either from Warner Bros. Pictures or Amblin.
Though Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory wasn't originally from Warner Bros. it did bad at the box office in the 70s so they aquired the distribution rights for the movie and the rights to make movies based on that book but no other in the series.
