I play random stuff becuase "everything good" is all shit. As I said, it's the Vader principle.
Anyway what you said is actually incorrect. I only play FIFA, Yakuza and Killzone. Only Yakuza could fit into random, and you like it and Killzone too. So I play one good series, and two shit ones.

What I mean by random is that it is usually not relevant to what is going on. While everyone is playing ME, or last year Zelda, Batman, Skyrim, etc, you are playing Killzone or something like that. Rarely are you playing the games people are playing at the time, which is totally fine but it is what I would call random cause I can never tell what you will be playing.
