I got creamed online in mk8 today playing globally. It's making me rethink the whole way I usually race, using fast vehicles and maintaining tight lines. The online can be so spammy with items and people always crash into you. It's got me thinking about high acceleration and heavy karts. And the Japanese.... fuck em. I was caught in a batch of racers with 5 Japanese people. They're fucking DEMONS at this game, might as well not bother playing. Wish there was the option of everywhere globally except Japan.

I can't spot it but there were a couple of peeps who'd magically pop in front of me near the end for no discernible reason.

Something I noticed today in MK8: you can still see the stats of your vehicle if you press + in the vehicle choise menu.  Might be I'm the last to notice, but thought I'd share nontheless.

The Fire Hopping Glitch was in other Mario Kart titles. It isn't a glitch but the reason most don't use it is because it is only actually useful in Time Trials. It isn't useful in an actual race because you would be hopping all over the course.

One of the cool things about the Mario Kart 8 promotion and extra game was that you got Nintendo Rewards points for it. So now I've got an extra $5 in points to spend on the eShop. If I were a smarter man I'd hold onto it for a little while and put it towards Pushmo World or Shovel Knight. However I'm not a smart man, and I'm debating a VC game for my 3DS. River City Ransom is tempting, but oddly enough I'm thinking about City Connection. It's not a good game, so I'm not sure why I want it. But I also bought Milon's Secret Castle, so apparently quality isn't a requirement for me.

Me too, I was thinking Earthbound, but would I play it? So I was thinking you could download 3 of those Wii U Panorama videos.
