E3 1998....the age of revolutionary innocence.
Shenmue Collection comes out this upcoming Tuesday! It's hard to believe these games are getting released on modern consoles. I wish SEGA would follow suit with more of their Saturn/Dreamcast classics. Anyway, I have mine ordered. Anybody else getting it here? Vader?
Man oh man, that really was an amazing year for gaming. So many good memories from games that were released that year.
This wek I've been playing Skyrim on Switch. Ready to Rumble Boxing 2 and Crazy Taxi on Dreamcast, NES Remix on 2DS and Mario Tennis on Wii U (Still able to find some games online).
I am not sure what I think about that.
After a few minutes of reflection I think I landed on the concept that western civilisation is way, way too much into WW2 idolism.
After finishing Resident Evil Remaster HD, I started Devil May Cry HD.
Have just been playing more Octopath Traveler during the weekend myself. Doing more side quests and some more exploring in general. Beat two of the four shrine bosses to acquire two more jobs for my characters.
This man is taking a trip through Capcom's prime! Not a bad thing to do.
After finishing Vampyr, I started up 3 games.
I don't get what you mean? I have been to 6 or so shrines and I walk up to an alter, listen to a message then get given the job with no boss or fight. What are you....? Are you talking about the items in the caves? I beat a giant moth. And there is this godamn snake that keeps putting me to sleep.
There’s the eight regular shrines that simply give you one of eight jobs but there are four other shrines that give you enhanced jobs. Those four shrines have a danger level of 50 and you have to beat a boss to acquire the job class.
I see. I am about level 45 with about 3 of my characters, rest are 38 or below so I haven't ventured into those areas yet. Is there a level cap at all? 100?
From what I’ve seen online it sounds like there is a level cap of 99. My main character that I started out with, Olberic, is at level 73 with most of my other characters at around 60. Primrose is at around 48, I used her the least.
For all you guys that were going to get the PS Vita version of Bloodstained, which I know was pretty much everyone here, IGA tells me it's been cancelled due to Sony discontinuing the console.
IGA? Iga Iga? Or some other Iga?
Primrose is my main as she was my starting character and so locked. I pity the poor bastard who starts with Therion as in battle he's a useless bastard till you unlock jobs from the shrines. Part of me wishes I had Ophelia as my main from the start as I could just heal endlessly. I found a bit of a cheat, btw using the support skills.
You can give someone the Scholar job and unlock the skill which recharges your health after each turn. Thing is, even if you change jobs, once you have that support skill locked it stays there. You could do it for everyone and have everyone just recharge health constantly. I have avoided doing it as I want the challenge and feel it would ruin the experience if I did that.
The only thief skills that I really used were those that reduced enemy physical attacks and reduce enemy armour.
Yeah you can really mix and match skills for effective results. This really comes in handy for these late game bosses. Those battles get pretty challenging.
There’s also a lot of things that I haven’t used a whole lot yet such as concoctions and capturing and using monsters.
