A 2tb one is £240, a 1tb card is £80

That's ludicrous.

We went sailing this weekend and during a race our eldest, who is a capable enough sailer, got tossed overboard when the boat bucked through some waves.

He had his lifevest on and was tethered to the boat with his lifeline, but it was still an event.  He got tangled up in the lifeline and was on his back just on the waterline, basically being waterboarded.  Took me probably less than 30 seconds to grab him and pull him above water, and another half minute to get him out with the help of someone else, but it seemed plenty long.  Took him inside, dried him up, put on new clothes and got him to drink some hot soup.  He was quite shaken with it and it took the rest of the day for him to get over it.  He doesn't seem to have gotten a trauma from it, but even today he's still sore all over from hitting the side of the boat and being tangled in the lifeline.  Says everything still tastes like salt too.

So I guess all is well that ends well.  The safety precautions paid off.

You have soup on your sailboat?

But seriously, glad it worked out, that must have been a scary few minutes for you.

But also, you have soup on your sailboat?

Glad nothing worse happened.

As I've aged I'm more wary of doing stuff that's risky.

I won't even swim in the ocean anymore.

Seriously that is scary. Very glad to hear he's okay.

And Aspro, I bet the PS5 Pro is now looking better over the beer and boat option, huh?

Yes.  We bought the boat for $1000 and spent another $200 on soup.

Yeah, it was scary.  Double so for my wife who saw it happen but couldn't intervene herself as she had to keep steering.

The son is at that age where he's becoming more and more independent, but where he's also just a little kid when he's hurt or something bad happens.  laugh

There are more pics buts it's hard for me to post them on my phone.

Basically it's a larger OLED, but instead of side rails the joycons are partially magnetically tucked into a gap on both sides of the tablet.

Other than that most of it, including stand and grill placement is the same as the OLED. It's rumoured to have analogue triggers.

It's nice, if it's real I didn't want them f"£@king around with the design too much. If you've never owned an OLED, know that the build quality is so much better than OG switch and that should translate across to 2.

Or these are two skus of different sizes?

The shoulder buttons are right next to each other. It's a small thing but I've always struggled with having two shoulder buttons per hand. Even that little gap between them makes it hard for my hands to reach in a pinch.

I prefer back buttons.

Those magnetic tracks bettet be real good, or it's going to be wiimote-lodged-into-tv all over again.

I predict straps for the joycon and a lanyard for the console itself.

I’m very fine with the Switch 2 if those leaked pics are accurate. Love the larger screen. Since the system is larger then the joycons will be larger as well.
