reporting on hurricane Milton is getting more and more alarming here in Europe.  Here's hoping no VGPressers are in the danger zone.  yes  If so, stay safe.

I can't speak for Vader since I don't exactly know where he lives, but Tampa Bay which is on the west side of Florida was originally going to be utterly fucked. The storm is moved a bit though so instead of being utterly fucked it's just simply fucked. There's no escaping that it's bad, but it's not quite the worst case scenario that it was 48 hours ago.

And then as far as me in Orlando, once the storm gets here it'll be a weak hurricane. So I'm not too worried about the wind, but they're forecasting a ton of rain, and there will likely be flooding in a lot of areas. It's also been very wet here recently, so when The ground is this wet, trees fall over. When trees fall over power lines get knocked down.

I still think I'll be okay, because my neighborhood was designed by a civil engineer who knew his shit. But I'll admit this is the most nervous. I've been about a hurricane since I moved to Florida 20 something years ago.

No. It's never really been necessary for me. In 16 years we've never lost power during a storm. Plus, I'm on a high priority power grid because we have a high school, an elementary school, a community college, and a fire station all within a mile and a half. So in the event of a power loss, we'd actually be one of the first backup.

Nintendo just shadow dropped their new system! Alarmo. Available for Nintendo Online members today in US and Canada. Has some pre installed game themes in it for the alarm clock settings with more offered as free updates with online connection. Can sense body movements and play sounds accordingly. The coin block sound effect immediately had me thinking of when doing something in bed that didn’t involve sleeping. LOL

$100 US.

That thing looks like the most annoying thing, ever.

Can't you just use some Nintendo songs on your phone and set it as an alarm clock?

Alarmo? LOL

Now they can sue other alarm clock manufacturers for infringing on their Alarmo patents. Nyaa

Earlier tonight I was surfing around the PlayStation store debating if I should download a game just in case I don't have power and I need something to do.

I followed that up with a quiet moment of realization that I'm on my way to being a senile old man.

LOL That's okay, man; a few hours ago, I had to write down a word, and I could not think of it. It is a word that is actually in my job title! After about 10 seconds, I grabbed a business card to remind myself what the word was.

Phillies should go into rebuild and bust up the team. It's just not happening with the current parts and firing the manager is not going to change anything.

Well good news for me. We dodged another bullet. Didn't lose our power, and there doesn't seem to be any serious damage to the house. I had a vacation scheduled for today, and that's been canceled. That said, I guess I'll just take advantage of my PTO and play a game.

I do the same with my title, but it's not from forgetting it, I just never remember how to spell "Gigolo" correctly...

I bought Kingdom two crowns for £1.30

I'd always wondered what's its like. You wander left and right collecting coins then spending them at strategic spots to build up your kingdom. If you are caught by a monster you lose everything and have to start again. It's pleasingly simplistic and relaxing. Lovely pixel art.

Doesn't Really explain much of anything though.

I was asked for ID at a supermarket for buying Paracetamol.

The cashier said I looked under 25.

I had to break out the driving licence wtf.

I'm not familiar with that medicine but they always card me whenever I buy cold meds because people use it to make meth or something.
