I need more 4 player local arcade games. I have Streets of Rage 4, Scott Pilgrim, Battle Circuit.
There are a few 3 player ones and lots of 2 player.
I beat Metroid Prime Remake this weekend. Still a great game. The bosses were a bit hit and miss. Turns out the only ones I remembered after all those years were, in fact, also the only rememberable ones. and the Metroids that can split into 2 different types and are immune to freezing can go do one..
I'll probably play Route 96 route Zero or whatever it's called next, as I really enjoyed the original. Also looking forward to the new Mario & Luigi RPG that's releasing later this week. And I should still get around to playing the Biohazard games I bought on Switch for the first time but haven't gotten around to yet.
TMNT Shredders Revenge has up to 6 players. I really should get that one soon.
Yeah, I think I managed to sneak in between 5 and 10 minutes.
My brother said to his kids that they would get Nintendos next Switch console when it came out.
Almost 8 years later and these poor kids have grown up with nothing. The youngest got a 3ds years ago and has been long abandoned.
The eldest is almost 16.
I can't imagine being 16 and have never owned a console before.
Somehow my memory farted out 'the needler song' from back when on GameSpot. Thought I'd share it here.
Especially a Nintendo console. Thatโs just wrong.

A collection of all of them would be nice too.
Now I need to know if normal sd cards can be used and how many sd card slots it has.
And whether games must be loaded onto the internal storage to be played.
As reported by Watertoon, the code of the Nintendo Switch Online playtest, which was held in the past few days for a new unannounced game, reportedly features support for mesh shaders and 4K resolution, neither of them supported by the current console. Considering how the Japanese company's president, Shuntaro Furukawa, confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be backward compatible, there's a very good chance that these features will be supported by the yet-to-be-revealed console."
Wth is a mesh shader?
Suposedly xbox series suport it natively, but PS5 doesn't. It can still be used through UE5 though.
Oops! There goes my career at Digital Foundry.
What's the point in utilizing the technology, if the install base is too small? Previous gen can't run it nor can pre GTX2000 cards. With how long it takes to make games these days it's no suprise we haven't seen many games use it yet.
If the Switch2 can utilize it, that'll give exclusives (and thus Nintendo themselves) another tool to close the gap visually with current gen. Although, by the time Nintendo decides to release the darn thing, mesh shaders might have become commonplace.
I read that software based mesh shaders, used in ue5 aren't practical to use, too intensive or something.
