It Should Have Stayed There
PlatformOVERALL
TurboDuo1.00
Overall 1.00
This is a game that starts out being so bad that you think it is good, but then champions on to become even worse, so much so that it becomes unbearable, even from the perspective of someone wanting to test the parameters of their humanity.

The story of nuclear-mutated ants who seek to build an atom bomb (I guess because they are nuclear ants), is relayed in *low* quality pre-MPEG video vignettes that take longer to load than they do to display. The live action actors look out toward the screen straight at you and let you know how important you are to the plot, but for every 7 minutes of full motion video there is exactly 10 to 20 seconds of game-play.

The game play consists of hang-man style stick figures that scroll sideways and are armed with guns that shoot so slow you can see the bullets as they scroll across the screen. Yep, that's right, you get to enjoy Sega-CD quality FMV interspersed with brief touchs of Atari 2600 depth game-play.

If you are looking to kill yourself and need one thing to push you over the edge, I thoroughly recommend this game. Oh, the sound quality is actually pretty good.

(This game is available for the TurboDuo)

Don't feel bad, at least it got me to update the system list.

I remember seeing a demo of this game at my local Toy's R Us back when it was new. I thought the graphics were horrible even back then.

I found a gameplay video on Youtube:

It's Youtube.  There's a reason I added a custom CSS file to completely remove the comments section while I'm on there.
