We've maintained a relative equilibrium here for a while, and in terms of everyone's part in the progression of the site's features and changes, has primarily been hand-off, which is fine. But I thought I'd give you all a run-down on where we are, what's in development and what's in queue.
I maintain a list of ideas and improvements in the Site Suggestions thread to go back to, but it's not necessarily complete, chronological or all things that will be done.
Right now aside from fixing the last unread GG Weekly feature, the top priorities for specific functions are in order
I've been in the meanwhile looking for more appropriate ways to handle news posting. Just grabbing all the news from one site defeats the purpose of the feature in the first place. Here the best solution in mind may just be an additional feature to the current structure. The GGWeeklyBar extension for Firefox was a start, but what I'd like to do is to add custom buttons to known gaming news sites that allow you to dynamically submit news. For example, if you browse to IGN with the extension installed, you would see a "Submit to GG Weekly" button that would bring up a pre-filled box to submit the article.
The top redesign is dependent on the login updates. And minify is a backend improvement.
Following that stack we have a need for lots of stats. There's a lot of information that could be provided to users both on an individual and collective basis that may be of interest.
That's what I'm working on. No telling when anything may or may not be done, but that's your update for now.

- Custom skins and layout
- Login box redesign (forgot login, etc.)
- Apply minify library to improve loading
- Overhauling GG Weekly news posting
- Implementing AJAX forum functionality (autoload new comments, chat view, etc.)
- Top bar and menu redesign
- Stats

You just have to vaguely know what you want; the design is me telling you what you actually want
I think the login stuff is pretty important (automating the forgotten password/ user name) for clear reasons. Maybe adding a youth declaration on account setup (over 1 would provide some legal protection.
Skins, I don't have much to say, just make sure the font colors are conducive. Some times I have black text on a dark green background and it's hard to see (I use light, so my text is black -- I think in review submittal).
I like the extension bar idea. It seems we've had a drop off in news submittal, that would make it easier for folks and also underscore our differentiator (mobsourced news).
I've enjoyed the stability and reliability of the site for some time now. You've done some excellent work, even though you now work and school at the same time (and play Ogre Battle) - amazing.
Legally speaking, not being a commercial site, I don't really know of any legal imperative. Practically speaking, that does nothing. Philosophically speaking, I don't think I should be telling other people, regardless of age, what they can or cannot handle.
The best part is that I don't have to do anything and the site will keep going
I think you missed it. Custom skins; that is, you control the colours (and fonts).
My brain has been slowed along with the internet so when it's faster again I'll see if I can think of anything useful.
Can you make the site do Eurogamer updates automatically?
If someone wanted to read every article at Eurogamer wouldn't they go to that site?
