Or a splatformer.
They have to be working on Splatoon 4 right? I wonder if they'd take it free to play live service? If I were they I would, and bring to mobile. But that's why I'm not Nintendo.
I agree. I think taht's baked in at this point, if they are going to try and have these consoles be on a constant arc of hardware upgrades every 4-5 years.
If they are serious about a continuam of hardware ala iPhone then they should support 3 gens at a time with the oldest dropping off with each hardware iteration. Since they moved to an x86 architecture with 4 it should not be a difficult thing to support. PS3 and below will be locked in emulation land (be it used formally used as with the PS Classic or on the high seas of intellectual property liberation).
Okay, so for some follow up reporting on my gueses about the PS5Pro in Australia.
It is being released here at $1200 AUD. This is equivalent to $800 USD, but when you consider that in Australia sales tax is included in the sticker price, whereas in the States it is not (and in California sales tax averages about 10%) then someone in a sales tax state/ county is paying $770USD and Aussies are paying $800 then that's pretty fair.
However, $1200 is still $1200! I could buy 3.5 Switches for $1200.
I could buy this boat for $1000 and spend $200 on beer. Clark 3.7m open/dinghy/runabout with 6hp Evinrude | Tinnies & Dinghies | Gumtree Australia Caloundra Area - Mooloolah Valley | 1325921908
Or 3 XBOX Series S Xbox Series S White - Good condition - Xbox in Narangba QLD | Gumtree Australia
If anything that just shows that dingy's are cheap in Australia,
But yeah, it's very expensive.
I definitely choose a PS5 Pro over a $1000 boat and $200 worth of beer. I'd get drunk after three cans, and fall off said boat, and drown.

Also My Summer in Mara sequel confirmed for Nintendo next console.
I don't know. The risk of the PS5 topling over and crushing you like a bug seems pretty large to me as well.
Wow I saw this on amazon :
8Bitdo G Bros. Wireless Adapter for Nintendo Switch (Works with Wired GameCube & Classic Edition Controllers) (Nintendo Switch//) https://amzn.eu/d/dl3ewZa
It's a wireless dongle, you can plug your old Gamecube, SNES and Wii classic controllers into to use wireless on Switch.
Might get this and use the Wii classic controller for 2D games.
Funny I've only ever experienced stick drift on Switch and no other system.
I've only had it happen on my PS3 and wired GameCube controller after many years of use. None of my modern controllers have had that issue at all, so far.
When is the price of these micro sds going to come down to reasonable levels?
A 2tb one is £240, a 1tb card is £80
PS5 gaming in a nutshell. Now spend $800 to play it at 60FPS!
I got a copy of that in one of the Wii U humble bundles. I think I played it for about 5 minutes and then moved on to something else.
But this definitely is another example of why I'm still not in a hurry to pick up a PS5. I think at this point, there are two exclusives for it that I really want to play and that's about it. At this rate, I'm half wondering if I should just wait and buy a PS5 when the ps6 comes out.
"Port of a PS4 remaster of a PS3 game" If I was writing a comedy I would probably have come up with that eventually, but holy crap that's insane.
